Floating Docks & Fixed Piers:

Marina Docks are held in place with Helix anchors because they accommodate a variety of conditions better than piles and offer more holding than traditional anchors.
Cheboygan, Michigan
Helix anchors were added to supplement pipe piles after two years of damage when the pipe piles failed during storms. No further damage has been reported.
Onoville, New York
A marina upgrade included the installation of Helix anchors with cable and winches to secure floating docks in this dam-controlled lake. Selected anchors were load-tested to prove the required 10,000 lbs of holding.
Bucksport, Maine
These marina docks are secured, against river currents and daily 10 foot tides, by Helix anchors and stand-off pipes.
Cohassett, Massachusetts
This private floating dock, designed
to handle a yacht to 90' LOA, is
secured by Helix anchors.
Fairfield, Connecticut
Driven piles were secured by Helix anchors after a storm surge had lifted the piles.
Stamford, Connecticut
Piles driven in shallow soils are
secured by Helix anchors to prevent
storm lift. Even in shallow soil,
each Helix anchor was load-tested
to prove holding in excess of 6,000
lbs., even in shallow soil.
